Wesley Chapel’s Blue Heron Senior Communities opened two years ago and is already answering the need for more health and rehabilitation suites. Land development will begin shortly on a new 35 bed addition located next to the existing community. This new addition will provide both Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation to those individuals seeking to recover from an illness before returning home to love-ones. Blue Heron, 5071 Eagleston Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544 is located across the street from the new Bay Care Hospital and just a few minutes north of Advent Health Hospital.
TLC Management, an Indiana and Florida premier senior living developer/operator, is excited about fulfilling the need for more health and rehabilitation suites. The new 35 private suites add to the existing 106 and, in total, will enable Blue Heron Health and Rehabilitation to offer a total of 141 private suites. Our goal is to enrich the lives of our residents by providing an environment that is physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally stimulating. Our therapy team will customize each resident’s rehabilitation needs by optimizing function and restoring quality of life, explains Ryan Ott, CEO, TLC Management. The team will be deeply involved in every aspect of each individual’s health, recovery, and active life-style to ensure the highest standard of care and services are provided.
Blue Heron also offers 95 resort-style private Assisted Living apartments where individuals are provided assistance, as needed, with daily activities while enjoying numerous opportunities a few steps away such as a health spa, theater, wellness gym, activity center, resident art gallery, library, bistro shop and town square. As part of the assisted living services, a separate wing of 22 apartments are specifically dedicated to residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of age associated memory impairment. All memory care apartments feature our front porch cottage theme. Services include everything from engaging activities, bathing, dressing and grooming assistance to medication reminders and management.
TLC anticipates the first residents of the new 35 bed addition to begin utilizing the suites in the summer of 2024. Upon completion, this new senior living community will assist in boosting employment within Pasco County by creating 35 new jobs.
